Delter entered the Chinese education market in the early 1990¡¯s, establishing its first International Business campus in Beijing to deliver a Joint Diploma Program with a Canadian College in Montreal. Over the next decade it established campuses in 16 cities throughout China and today Delter has the largest Joint Diploma program of its kind in China. Delter International Business Institutes have graduated more than 50,000 students with Joint Diplomas from over 20 overseas Universities in the past 13 years. Delter graduates are renowned for their English language and professional business skills and are well and widely respected in Chinese society with most of them obtaining fulltime employment in multinational enterprises in China or direct admission to overseas Universities to continue their education.

Due to its successful education partnership model, high level of teaching quality and good social standing in China, Delter has received wide affirmation from the central government and education administrative authorities. In 2003, the Academic Director of our Tianjin campus, Mr. Barry Michael, was awarded the Friendship Prize by the Chinese Central Government. This is the highest prize a Foreign Expert can receive in China. Mr. Barry Michael was cordially met by Premier Wen Jia Bao and Vice-Premier Wu Yi. The Academic Directors of our Shanghai campus, Mr. D. L. Scott and Mr. William Arthur Oberg received the White Magnolia Prize from the Shanghai Municipal Government in 2003 and 2007 respectively.

As a result of its long standing cooperation with overseas institutions, Delter has gained rich experience in establishing and delivering joint education programs in China. It has also established a comprehensive QA process and National Academic Committee to ensure the highest level of academic standards and integrity at all of its campuses. Today, Delter has a team of more than 500 dedicated and experienced overseas English and Business teachers from native English speaking countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia along with fully bilingual administrative staff, many of whom are Delter graduates.

Delter¡¯s successful business and educational model drew the attention of the Xingwei Education Management Group, which acquired all of Delter¡¯s operations and merged them with their other Chinese educational assets, including SinoJob and Top Colleges. Under the leadership of the new management team, Delter has embarked on an expansion of its educational programs. In the 2009 -2010 Academic Year Delter introduced its exciting new Pre-Masters Program (Business), 3 Year Digital Arts Diploma Program and Teacher Training Program to compliment our establish 3 Year Business Diploma Programs.
